West Fraser Timber – Anniversary Coffee Table Book

West Fraser is one of North America’s largest lumber manufacturers with 45 facilities in British Columbia, Alberta, and the southern U.S. This coffee table book commemorates the story of three brothers that founded West Fraser in 1955. More than six decades later, the Company has grown from the original 12-person crew at Two Mile Flat to be the largest lumber producer in North America.

I was responsible for the design of this book that would be given to the employees at West Fraser. The process for the creation of this book was in depth and included custom photoshoots, research and sorting through decades of photo collections in West Frasers archives at their downtown Vancouver office. 

The book used vintage duotone style images and images of “artifacts” throughout that told the story of the company.
