Robson Street Branding

Robson Street needed a fresh brand with a new identity that would communicate what the street has to offer and bring more shoppers to the area in a slowing economy. The project deliverables included a new logo, transit campaign, stationery, brand guidelines, newsletter and brochures. The new branding design is applied to all marketing collateral. The brand communicates the urban feel of the area as a fashion hotspot  and tourist destination with sophisticated yet welcoming images and design. The printed pieces used specialty print techniques such as spot UV varnishes and metallic inks to convey a feel of exclusivity.

Marketing research was used to determine the target audience. I put together a brand audit and worked with members of the BIA to come up with the brand strategy. The new brand has been well received and they have accumulated many more online social media followers.
